November 8, 2020November 15, 2020 / Sirri Rimppi / Leave a comment

My quick visit to the Coniston copper mines to check out the blue walls and the spot where a bomb was once found.

Tunnel or a waterfall? – Exploring Borrowdale Graphite Mine

July 25, 2020October 22, 2020 / Sirri Rimppi / 1 Comment

May 9, 2020October 22, 2020 / Sirri Rimppi / 1 Comment

I was supposed to go to Russia this month. Now it’s not an option. My cousin had to come back from st Petersburg as things were getting too difficult and dangerous for foreigners, and the ordinary people in Russia are facing major changes in their lives. It is not the same as being attacked and having to run for your life but the war affects people on both sides. And it is all happening so very near just now, just across one invisible border. I’ve written more about this on my blog - link in the bio.
